                                3rd Gift Presentation to Filiz Ça\u011fman – 7th Silver Tulip Award Ceremony (8 February 2019)<\/p>\n

                              The 7th Silver Tulip Awards organized by Traditional Arts Association was given to Filiz Ça\u011fman in Topkap\u0131 Palace. In the award ceremony, the book “Gift to Filiz Ça\u011fman” was also promoted.<\/p>\n

                                The book, which was introduced on February 8, was published. The book was sent to many art associations and artists.<\/p>\n

                                1. Traditional Arts Association – UNESCO SOKÜM Accredited NGOs Meeting (24 – 30 December 2018)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                  The Traditional Arts Association officially participated in the UNESCO meeting for the first time after UNESCO accreditation. Meeting which is conducted in Mauritus beside the Turkey many other countries culture ministiries, UNESCO experts, representatives of the National Committee for UNESCO, the UNESCO accredited NGO representatives and artists participated. Ahmet Akcan participated in the program on behalf of the Board of Traditional Arts Association.<\/p>\n

                                  1. UNESCO Accredited NGOs Advisory Board Meeting<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                    On behalf of the Traditional Arts Association, which has accreditation to UNESCO, the President of the Association Ahmet Akcan attended the Accredited Civil Society Organizations Advisory Board Meeting held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on April 18, 2019.<\/p>\n

                                    In order to take an active role in UNESCO’s work on intangible cultural heritage, a meeting was held with accredited NGOs Executive Board Chairman Naila Ceribasic and Executive Board Member Meg Nömgård and a joint organization was held in Istanbul with accredited NGOs.<\/p>\n

                                     7th Graz “Designmonat” Design Festival<\/p>\n

                                    Traditional Arts Association Board Members Asl\u0131han Erkmen and Dr. \u015eehnaz Biçer Özcan attended the “Designmonat” design festival events held in Graz, Austria between 15-19 May 2019 with the invitation of Istanbul Design Bureau. Traditional Arts Association’s board members held a panel Designer Talks traditional arts in Turkey and in speeches and presentations on the current situation.<\/p>\n

                                    1. Associations Useful for Public Status<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                      Traditional Arts Association started to work in 2018 to gain the status of associations useful for public. The association will make its application at the beginning of 2020.<\/p>\n

                                      1. Education Scholarship<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                        Traditional Arts Association gave scholarships to 3 students as a result of applications.<\/p>\n
