There is no need to register the work with any institution or have it approved. <\/p>\n<p>However, certain procedures may be carried out to protect the rights over the work and, in particular, to facilitate proof in determining ownership.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Optional registration<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is a voluntary procedure that facilitates proof in determining the author of the work, i.e. the person or persons who created the work. This procedure is based on a declaration and does not have the nature of establishing rights. Ideas cannot be registered or recorded in their abstract form, but they can be registered or recorded once they have been concretised and shaped (turned into a work).  <\/p>\n<p>Upon request, following the registration application, a document containing information about the work and its author is issued to the applicant regarding the processing carried out.<\/p>\n<p>If the work that has been voluntarily registered becomes the subject of a lawsuit, a copy of the registration certificate and the documents submitted during the application will be submitted to the court by our General Directorate upon request by the court.<\/p>\n<p>You can find detailed information about voluntary registration applications <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telifhaklari.gov.tr\/content\/Istege-Bagli-KayitTescil\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Title deeds drawn up or certified by a notary<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is possible for a notary to draw up or certify a declaration stating that the person in question created the work in question and that all rights to this work belong to them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How is Copyright Protected?
