OPEN CALL Istanbul Miniature Festival “Cities of Turkey” Exhibition
Within the scope of the Turkey Culture Road Festival organized by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a miniature exhibition on “Cities of Turkey” will be held at the Istanbul Miniature Festival, Istanbul Culture Road Festival, which will be organized by the Traditional Arts Association between 28 September – 6 October 2024.
It is organized with the aim of contributing to the development and promotion of miniature art from traditional arts, transferring this cultural heritage to future generations and making it visible. The works sent by the participants will be evaluated by the selection committee consisting of academicians who are experts in their fields and veteran artists working in this art branch, and the works deemed appropriate will be selected for exhibition.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
The theme of the work should be “Cities of Turkey”.
Each participant will participate in the competition with only 1 (one) work.
Participants are free in the techniques and materials they will use.
Participants are free in the size they will use.
The works to be sent for the evaluation of the Selection Committee must be frameless.
The works to be sent for the evaluation of the Selection Committee must be submitted by September 20, until September 20, by filling out the Annex-2 (Letter of Commitment) and Annex-3 (Artist and Work Introduction Form) files on the Association website and this specification, wet signed, together with the work and curriculum vitae (CV) in an envelope, by cargo to the delivery address specified in the “work delivery address” article or by hand between 10.00-18.00 on weekdays. The owner of the work is responsible for the damage caused by cargo and these works will not be evaluated.
The participant accepts, declares and undertakes that the work sent to the exhibition is entirely his/her own. The legal responsibility for copyright violations that may arise if the work belongs to someone else belongs to the participant.
