The Traditional Arts Association (GSD) also took its place with various workshops at the CRAFTISTANBUL 3rd Handicrafts Fair held on October 5-9, 2022.
CRAFT ISTANBUL Handicrafts and Design Fair, which was held for the third time this year, opened its doors on October 5 at the Dr. Architect Kadir Topbaş Show and Art Center in Yenikapı. With the workshops organized within the scope of the fair, valuable information was provided in many branches of art and practical trainings were given together with the participants.
During the fair, workshops on rag dolls, ceramics, lithography, basketry and calligraphy were organized at the stand of the Traditional Arts Association, and books that were published to contribute to the field of traditional arts and support its development were sold.
Within the scope of workshops with applied and theoretical information special to Craftistanbul Fair, GSD organized Rag Doll Workshop with Liana Küllüoğlu on Wednesday, October 5, 2022; Ceramic Workshop with Tuğba Güven on Thursday, October 6, 2022; Stone Printing Workshop with Emine Kuşcul on Friday, October 7, 2022; Basket Workshop with Jale Gültekin on Saturday, October 8, 2022; and Calligraphy Workshop with Rıdvan Özalp on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan visited the Traditional Arts Association booth during his visit to Craftistanbul 3rd Handicrafts and Design Fair and received information about the work of the Association and the workshops.
