Between 28 October - 3 November, 2007, the Association of Traditional Arts initiated the Calligraphy Meeting which started with a panel and an exhibition opening at Cemal Reşit Rey Hall. Alongside the Calligraphy Meeting, The Second Silver Tulip Award was granted to calligraphy master Hasan Çelebi in a special ceremony.

The communiqués and the images of the artists’ works presented at the panel, the opening of the exhibition and photos taken on the social trips were compiled in a book titled “Calligraphy Meeting”. The book carries a high importance as a resource for art candidates engaged in calligraphy.

2. Silver Tulip Award
The Silver Tulip Award was granted to Hasan Çelebi in 2007 because of his works and precious contributions he made to the art of calligraphy by training numerous artists.
