On November 1st 2013, the Association of Traditional Arts supported by Zeytinburnu Municipality, Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized the contest for The Masters of the Future.
The participants presented their works in different art branches; Calligraphy, Illumination, Miniature, Marbling (Ebru), Binding, Tiling, Paper Filigree and Hand-drawing.
As a result of the evaluations made by the master artists, three people from each art branch were deemed worthy of awarding, and the works of four people were also exhibited.
On November 16th 2013, after an breakfast organization, a prize-giving ceremony was held in the evening where contestants were awarded and winning works were exhibited. In addition, a second exhibition was opened in Dolmabahçe Palace.
A catalogue containing the winning works was printed out and distributed in the organized exhibitions.
A web address www.geleceginustalari.org was opened to service, to allow participants access the contest’s detailed information.
