The Association of Traditional Art organized the Miniature Meeting in which works of significant Miniature artists were put on display. Furthermore, between 21-27 May 2011, a symposium was held with the attendance of the artists and experts. The Association presented the Silver Tulip Award to Prof. Dr. Nurhan Atasoy.
In the organized workshop meetings held at Taner Alakuş Miniature Atelier, the Applied Turkish-Islamic Arts Library, Cahide Keskiner Miniature Atelier and Nakkaş Turkish Decorative Arts Centre, the artists shared their experience with the participants. Additionally, a catalogue entitled “Miniature Meeting” comprising the contents of the event was published.

A visit to the Dist. Prof. Dr. Süheyl Ünver’s grave was organized.
Silver Tulip Award
The fourth Silver Tulip Award - an award that is annually granted by the Association of Traditional Arts to an artist - was presented to Illumination artist Prof. Dr. Nurhan Atasoy.
