“Ottoman Florists and Flowers” book was prepared by The Association of Traditional Arts and it is a compilation of 9 manuscripts called “şükufenâme”, each penned in different periods during Ottoman Empire. This book was a valuable contribution to our cultural heritage, thanks to the vigorous works of Researcher Dr. Seyit Ali Kahraman. Prof. Dr. Nurhan Atasoy, a doyen in arts history, contributed to this book as an advisor. The book received a great interest from traditional arts lovers.

“A Gift to Prof. Dr. Nurhan Atasoy” book, which was prepared with the initiative of The Association of Traditional Arts, containing articles dedicated to Prof. Dr. Nurhan Atasoy, one of our most important art historians. The book compiles a collection of the articles penned by Atasoy’s students and friends in the field of art history. The book, which was prepared in a long period of time and with great efforts by Lale Publishing, was presented to readers in 2014.

280 artists joined the contest organized by The Association of Traditional Arts for the second time. The contest composed of seven traditional arts; Calligraphy, Illumination, Miniature, Marbling, Tiling, and Paper Filigree.

The Masters of the Future organized by The Association of Traditional Arts was held for the first time in 2014. In the major eight branches of the traditional arts: Calligraphy, Illumination, Miniature, Marbling (Ebru), Binding, Tiling, Paper Filigree and Hand-drawing, a total of 219 works were submitted to the contest.
