Between 30 August - 30 September 2008, “Our Calligraphy Art” Exhibition was organized by the Association of Traditional Arts at Odakule Art Gallery of The Istanbul Chamber of Industry.
Between 28 October - 3 November, 2007, the Association of Traditional Arts initiated the Calligraphy Meeting which started with a panel and an exhibition opening at Cemal Reşit Rey Hall. Alongside the Calligraphy Meeting, The Second Silver Tulip Award was granted to calligraphy master Hasan Çelebi in a special ceremony.
Between September 7-14th, 2006, the Association of Traditional Arts organized Marbling Days event which consisted of an exhibition, workshop meetings, a panel and the Silver Tulip Award ceremony. The recipient of the first Silver Tulip Award was Hikmet Barutçugil.
Marbling, one of the most important components of Traditional Turkish-Islamic Art as well as of modern art, was celebrated in the works of the artists who were able to combine these special attributes away from the classical comprehension at “The Exhibition of New Approaches in Marbling” organized by The Association of Traditional Arts.
Between October 31 - November 9, 2003, the Association of Traditional Arts organized a group exhibition for the works of the Association’s founding master artists whose contributions to these arts are highly valuable.Hikmet Barutçugil - (Marbling), M. Savaş Çevik (Calligraphy), and Nusret Çolpan (Miniature) participated with their works in the exhibition held at Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall.
